Her voice is still deep, wonderfully hoarse and her golden hair is crowned on top of her head. But something has changed. This project started after the birth of her first child and feels more intimate than ever. Written in her bedroom, it plunges us into the euphoric sense of joy of the artist who became a mother. It also wants to be more ambitious: for the first time in her career she has taken on the task of producing it, on the one hand on her favorite instrument, the guitar, and on the other hand on her computer. Together with the talented producer Kwes (Kelela, Solange, Tirzah, Loyle Carner, Micachu, Nao) Selah Sue produces 5 songs that are both glowing and introspective.
