Description

In 1985 The Cult broke through with "She Sells Sanctuary" from the album 'Love', The follow-up was finished late 1986 with the title 'Peace', But the band weren't happy with the too-polished results, The band contacted producer Rick Rubin to re-mix the lead track, "Love Removal Machine", Enthused by the results, the band abandoned the expensive 'Peace' recordings to re-record the entire album with Rick Rubin. This became The Cult's third album, 'Electric', and a multi-million seller.
