Kiri-uu is indebted to Veljo Tormis (1930-2017), one of the most important choral composers of the 20th century in Estonia, for his extensive work in illuminating the unique character of Finno-Ugric runic song A2 taken from the 1985 Olev Muska debut album "Old Estonian Waltzes, 2/4's, 4/4's, 5/8's And 6/8's". A1, B1 to B7 taken from the 1988 Kiri-Uu debut album "Kiri-Uu - Traditional Runic Songs of the Finno Ugric People from Estonia and Ingria".
