Description

Originally released in 1990, Peter 'Doggy' Duggal’s cult-classic bleep & bass EP Psyche is remastered and bolstered with a pair of rare tracks for this new edition from the Mint Condition label.

Made when Doggy was still a teenager, ‘Psyche’ and ‘Dog Food’ are superb examples of both the bleep & bass sound as a whole and the style of the Rham! label which originally put the tracks out. These tunes very much hold their own against other Rham! drops such as A Guy Called Gerald’s ‘Voodoo Ray’, their juddering basslines and chunky programmed drums an exemplary demonstration of the rave sound which was sweeping the UK at the time of their release.
