Description

Don Laka, short for Donald Laka, is a South African jazz and funk musician. He was a very influential musician in the 80`s and 90`s, working with the likes of Sipho Mabuse, Brenda Fassie, and Sankomota. 

In 1986 he released a four track EP, Stages of love. The track Stages, an upbeat, synth-driven disco song, has never been released like this before. Here you have the original song, wonderfully pressed on a whole side. 

The other side contains a delicious Prins Thomas edit, almost nine minutes of high octane South African discoboogie. Both sides are remastered, giving the song the whole sonically register. 

The original 4 tracker is almost impossible to find, but here you get the full original version plus the tasty Prins Thomas edit, in a beautiful cover reinterpreted by the 1986 original cover.
