Post Rock classic! Essential!
Hex is the debut album by British post-rock band Bark Psychosis, released on 14 February 1994 by Circa Records in the UK, and on 11 March 1994 by Caroline Records in the US. The term "post-rock" was coined by music journalist Simon Reynolds in his review of this album for Mojo magazine.
A relatively small recorded output and little media recognition, Bark Psychosis was one of the most innovative artists of their era
The band dissolved shortly after their 1994 album "Hex" was completed, followed by ten years of inactivity. In 2004 Bark Psychosis returned with "The Black Meat", "Codename: Dustsucker" and the EP "400 Winters" in 2005.
