Description

"French Touch Collection" is a double LP series dedicated tot the French electronic music scene. Influenced by new musical genres such as House, Hip-Hop, Techno, and by the raves parties, several French producers participated in democratizing electronic music in the mid-'90-s. Their music called " French Touch" by Martin James, a British journalist , in 1996 became a new music genre internationally renowned and characterized by electronic productions and music samples from Hip-Hop, Funk, or Disco. The "French Touch" scene reinvented itself in the early '2000s with a new generation of uninhibited artists, carried by a raw sound close to Rock. The '2010s brought a new "French Touch" wave influenced by Pop music and more focused on melody and oneiric universes. This second opus features a selection of House, Techno, Trip-Hop, Downtempo and Electro tracks highlighting the diversity and quality of the hexagonal productions through the years. "Bon voyage!"
